Red and dark berries on the nose. Along with a dark tea and some earthiness.
On the palate tart fruit quickly giving way to spice. Then the tannins start to grip and introduce some savory notes.
Finish is a bit bitter but in a way that is inviting more food/drink.
Exceeded my expectations.

Huge, bold, tannic of course. Can't drink on its own, but with a steak or roast? Awesome.

Not what i was thinking about exactly. Kind of too sweet for me. Um drinking it but ill go running for a malbec right after it
