Beautiful extraction for grenache. Dry Creek Valley wine, estate fruit. This wine has a heck of a nose on it. I'll give the nose alone a 92. Lots of brambly fruit, herbs (almost like basil?). VERY herbal nose. On the palate, some acidity on the front, but mostly rounded, builds to a black cherry, acidity building to the middle and finish where mint, allspice, raspberry pie kind of meet and mingle. This was a 'rando' recommendation when we were there in Dry Creek last year, and really glad we stopped.

Feb 16th, 2018Red fully ripe raspberry with slight herbaceous nose. Paired with roasted butternut squash ravioli with brown butter walnut and sage sauce. Beautiful clean Gibson. Nice pairing!
