Nov 1st, 2020Not a bad little zinfandel. Tasted pretty muted on day 1. Day 2 this one came alive. I think that this one is just so young that it needs a day of slow ox. On the nose is pepper and plum. Entry is more of a roasted fig, black fruit, sweeter youthful side. Not too jammy at all. Definitely dark, acidic entry. Finished dark, peppery. This one is good for the next several years, and who knows maybe even longer. The structure of this wine appears to be pretty solid.
