shared the bottle with a friend while going through the efforts of testing a new recipe -- very enjoyable on its own and paired (shockingly) well with the warm almond cake and peach sauce

Smooth and balanced with good spice and tanning that coat the mouth. Just a bit sweet. CM likes. $14 2013

Very tangy and concentrated, didn't like this one as much. Had an oak taste to it paired with steak and was much more manageable.
