Very earthy, a good everyday wine! At first, a brief touch of alcohol, which disappeared after some aeration.

Inky in color with a purplish rim.

Metallic nose with blackberries, plums, oak, smoke, barnyard, cherries, vanilla, cloves and black pepper.

Medium to Full bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate and somewhat bitter with blackberries, cherries, bitter greens, cloves, metals and peppercorn.

Short finish with medium tannins and black pepper.

This has a Watery mouthfeel. Very peppery, simple and unattractive.
Tastes like a watered down Malbec, actually. Not my style at all.

Aged in oak barrels for 6 months.

14% alcohol by volume.

Great evening sipping wine, give it time to unmask its tones. Aerating this wine is recommended, if you don't usually.
