Trapiche
Argentina Pinot Grigio
Pale lemon in color with a yellow tint.
Light nose of lemons, citrus, green apples, grass and green herbs.
Medium bodied, crisp and refreshing, with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with grapefruits, limes, lemons, green apples, cream, herbs, spices, white pepper and green vegetables.
Medium finish with limes and bitter almonds.
An average white wine, but enjoyable nonetheless. Simple, earthy and well balanced. Needs 15 minutes to open up. Better when very chilled.
Good wine with food. I paired it with an Argentinian charcuterie board. Will also pair nicely with spicy cold Meats.
13% alcohol by volume.

After drinking it on several occasions we have fallen out of this one. Too acidic. Or maybe 2020 isnt a good year.

Oct 29th, 2016Good white for the price. Guest brought it to have with a fish dish and it served well. A bit bland.
