Blueberry, game and a little mocha. A short, but silky smooth, velvety finish. Impressive on all levels. In a blind tasting, I bet this would not only hold its own against $50-$100 cabs, it would be picked by some as the wine of the night.

Case alert! High value for the low price. Lithe and sophisticated. Big earthy and tobacco and cherry nose transitions into a palette flavor profile of blueberry and currant with roasted wild game. Supple tannins. Great finish.

Last had 18 months ago. Intentionally held a few bottles to see what this could do. It's not holding up. It was once a special, high QPR, case alert wine; sadly it's now just an ordinary $15 cab. A nice fruit-forward wine of blueberry pie, with just the slightest touch of mocha on the finish. The tannins are soft and dusty. This has lost all the extra levels of complexity and elements of sophistication that put this on par with $50+ cabs. Still a good value, but tragic.

Platinum Reserve. Bought 2 bottles and now wish I bought a case as its no longer at TJ. Really yummy Cab! Smooth, full of flavor, hearty but not beefy. Jammy notes without being too much. Fills mouth with flavor.
