Review of the TJs Petit Reserve 2013 Chardonnay from Paso. Totally drinkable, but just not great in any way.

Taste follows the nose with more lychee and ripe fruit, some bittersweet grapefruit, a bit nutty also. Nice mix of acidity and sweetness. Aftertaste is medium and leaning towards grapefruit flavor, a bit warmth from alcohol. Above average.

Jul 13th, 2017Agree, totally drinkable, but not my favorite style. This is very tart, like green apples in a glass. Said lightly oaked, but seems more like a steel fermented Chardonnay. Mineral and acid more pronounced. $6.99
