I was surprised by how well I like this one. Approachable, but not a big fruit bomb, actually very little fruit, and not hot at all at 13.6%. I detected, oddly enough, a touch of salinity up front, but that could just me me.
A really good everyday wine and a good value.

Jan 9th, 2017Robust fruity yet vegetable-esque flavor, characterized by a tart beet-inspired afterbirth. Loved it, would drink it outta the bleached asshole of a county stripper 10/10 times.

Feb 19th, 2016Townshed. Vortex Red, from the Columbia Valley. 13.6% alc by vol. this wine maker is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc varieties. Yum! I would give it a 8 1/2.😍

Nov 4th, 2014Not good. Fruit-forward nose. Only good thing is decent tannins. Slight pepperiness, which is ok. Fruit on the palate quickly turns bitter and is gone with only a weird back-palate aftertaste. Equivalent to an average to sub-par $5 wine. Try something else.
