2018 opened Nov 2021. This vintage is 100% Syrah with no Grenache in the blend. All the Torrin wines have fantastic noses—This one has Roses, ripe cherries, and a hint of lavender as it’s scents. Brief hint Strawberry jam on the front. Soft tannins with some a pleasant astringency on mid-palate to offset the softness of the front tannins. Medium finish with a refreshing hint of mint. This is the most complex 100% Syrah I’ve ever tasted. Absolutely lovely!
