A surprisingly serious & balanced Nero D’Avola-black fruited all the way. Plenty of casis & blackberries on palate. Quite concentrated but not overly so or too fruity-Apparently a portion of the grapes used are dried in the old style (& as in some Venetian wines). Not complex either but just delicious. Polaner book, & at 13$ a steal.
