Wow, love it when I get my hands on something from Napa besides Cab. This Syrah has a ton of flavor, great balance with acidity and tannins. Quality wine!!!

Huge oak, but that balances the massive fruit and tannins. Extremely "new world"style bit absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

Jul 23rd, 2015Totally different H.A. For 2012. La Herradura Vineyard on Conn Valley Rd rather than Hudson. 2 pts higher ABV at 15.5, but not hot by any means. Had this a couple of days after the 09, so will have to try them side-by-side next time. Both versions were excellent!
