Part of Howell Mountain dinner.
Loved the integration of oak, aging, and fruit. This needs to be paired with food for full effect. Black fruits, herbs, and spice standout but the tertiary notes of tobacco and leather start to show through. The full spectrum of notes really make this a well rounded wine and there is plenty more longevity. I wish I had a couple more bottles to see this develop. Tor Kenward has become one of my new favorite producers to keep trying, even if it comes with a hefty pricetag.
