Ca' del Laito Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Corvina Blend

Beautiful tannins, dried cranberry, bitter chocolate, fig. One of my favorite styles

Dense but bright chocolate covered raisins but not sweet pretty complex and a rock solid ripasso

Earthy

Smells like cherries and plums. Taste like sweet strawberries and tart cherries with a silky smooth finish.

My preferred approach to Ripasso; more black currant and less raisins. Well structured. Some alcohol on the finish.
