Very smooth wine. Tons of dark fruits, plum, blueberry. Pruney sweetness. Very subtle baking spice but not peppery/black pepper. Very very dark opaque purple in color with a purply/brown rim. Consumed this wine with a beautifully cooked Tuna steak which was an excellent combination because there wasn't much fat to the tuna and there weren't really any obvious tannins to the wine to dry the mouth. All in all really enjoyed the pairing. This wine could definitely be enjoyed alone and I totally would if Croatia would start exporting their wines. Reminded me a little of Amarone
