Classic style meets new age refinement. This Sangiovese really flexes what the earth gave it. One the nose, I’m getting a lot of black licorice and cherry cola. Hints of vanilla and oak follow closely behind. The color has a bit of orange rust hue (from the classic techniques Josh uses when making the wine). This wine has such purpose and is executed so well. A great wine!!
