An exemplary Chianti. Exhibits all the things the Sangiovese grape can bring to a wine when properly handled. Nice cherry on the nose. Cherry, raspberry and some oak infused complexity. A straightforward Chianti that doesn't pretend to be anything else, but showcases the characteristics of a Tuscan Sangiovese. Smooth drinking with a bit of tartness on the finish.
