Such a full-bodied wine with a nose similar to that of dried tobacco. At first sip, the taster notices a touch of berries which is quickly followed by a layer of oak and finished with a pungent spice. Paired nicely with a simple plate of cheddar cheese, pepperoni and crackers. Would definitely drink again, perhaps with some pasta and mushrooms to pair with and complement the smooth finish.

Bought a bottle for $11 just to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. Had it with ribeye steaks medium rare and very much enjoyed it.
