First impressions- deep inky color and gives off a raw vinegar smell, opens up beautifully with dark blue fruit dusted with cocoa, very short finish. After 40 minutes of decanting, wine morphs dramatically. More of stewed tomato with a blackberry tinge and reminiscent of hoisin sauce on the finish.
