What a nice little Syrah! It benefited from a light chill, which helped it show its fine structure. This seems like a good daily wine at this truly affordable price. The nose has a nice blackberry note with a faint note of smoke, which makes it stand up, rather than fall into thick sweetness. The nose follows through on the palate. It paired beautifully with a grass-fed-beef burger topped with a buttery Gouda cheese.This is one of those wines that one glass leads to another and another and....
