Found this gem in a grocery store in the Ozarks. They were nice enough to she it for 12 years for me 😉. In really good shape but probably already peaked.

I think the Toasted Head reds are excellent value for money. We buy them regularly for just $10 a bottle. A bit oaky - I believe the name refers to charring the barrel. Worth decanting or enjoying day 2.

Very good; fairly inexpensive wine with a mild bite and reasonable fruity complexion for a merlot.

Fruity but not sweet, very oaky. Nice wine! Smells kind of like crayons, but in a good way. And a little bit of black licorice.
