Elegant, subtle and mineral-driven Blaufränkisch from Carnuntum. Medium-bodied with black-fruit flavors and a hint of peppery spice. I would recommend to those who love Burgundy. This grape has been considered PN clone for a long time. Muhr-van der Niepoort is the viticultural collaboration between Austrian PR guru and Portuguese Port and Douro master. Handwork focused vineyard management, no new barriques, 2 years maturation. Rating 3,7/5
