Dark ruby in color with high intensity and a red/ orange rim.
Beautiful fruity nose with blackberries, blueberries, plums, cherries, currants, vanilla, licorice, Cola, and black pepper.
Full-bodied and smooth, elegant and complex.
Dry and fruity on the palate with cherries, strawberries, blueberries, currants, vanilla, licorice, black pepper, oak, earth and dirt.
Long finish with smooth tannins.
The wine feels like a mixture between Old World and New World.
Great wine but on the decline right now. I had the 2010 before, which was a bit better. Nice enough to enjoy by itself or with grilled meats.
93.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4.5% Cabernet Franc and 2% Merlot. The wine aged for 12 months in oak barrels.
14% alcohol by volume.
