A very dark ink color, taste of berry and pomegranate. Not peppery or spicey, sweet on the front, mild tannins, semi dry finish.

I didn't expect much from this wine at $3.99 a bottle, but its good with pasta or red meat.

I also grabbed a Pinot Noir for a future review.
