Can’t get enough. Always fun, always a lil funky. Not sure of vintage, because it’s not listed on the bottle but assuming it’s fresh, 2020 or 2021. On the nose: mesquite barbecue sauce, lemony and briny. Palette: it’s weird. There’s very present acidity and the a lot of descriptors you typically don’t want to say (olive brine, yeast, nail polish remover, pickled sunny d) but in the most delicious way possible.

Jun 19th, 2021Somewhere deep down you can still tell this is NZ SB. Tropical somethingness. But it also just screams high acid raw wine. Grapefruit juice, Meyer lemon and definitely barnyard funk.

Mar 2nd, 2020Why do I smell mangoes in everything? Orange peel, celery, black peppercorn, nectarine, chutney, and pickled carrots. Tangerine jam.
Body of kombucha. Peaches, peach soda, peach marmalade.
Still love it.

Wow. Just completely different bouquet than any other wine. Smells more like a citrusy saison than any wine. Melon, grapefruit zest.
Beautiful amber yellow/orange color.
Redefines zip in a wine. Kombucha. Overall roundedness with all the big flavor profiles, umami, sweet, fruity, bubbles, tart.
Wild honey. Wild pleasure.
In writing this, downed the first glass.
