Drinks like a cross between Bandol, Morgon, and Zinfandel. Really fantastic.

Super impressed with this mourvèdre. Light, fruity, and peppery. Decent amount of tannin without going over and just the right acidity. Great for a summer red.

This fresh wine is inspiring. Taking a non-noble grape, keeping the alcohol below California norms, 13.6%, this boutique producer makes a wine that exceeds the sum of its individual components. Won’t win a blind tasting contest as it’s not “big” enough. I’d recommend this to anyone. Wonderful wine.
