Dec 1st, 2022VA for days. Interesting wine. Lacks some balance and is a little too volatile for my tastes.

Oct 5th, 2022Impressed. Grows on you with every sip. Rustic winemaking style for Xinomavro, yet leading to a grandiose outcome.

Jan 1st, 2024The indigenous grapes variaties
of Xinomavro, Krassato and Stavroto are grown on the slopes of Mount Olympus on a schist bedrock. They express
perfectly the unique terroir of
the Appellation Rapsani.
Redish color, perfumed, strong tanins. Long aftertaste.

This is probably one of my favorite Greek reds. Little funk on the nose. Smooth. Black cherries. Cloves. Need to get some more!!

Apr 23rd, 2023One of the better and more unexpected wines I’ve had this year. Burgundy meets Nebbiolo but even more rustic. 50% xinomavro, 35% krassato, 15% stavrato.
Smells like sea jetty, your childhood best friend’s basement and the fresh plastic smell of opening up a brand new toy. Cherry compote, raspberry, hints of dark chocolate, and limestone.
Don’t think too much. The gods of Olympus and millennia are on your side. Just let it in & enjoy.
