Light raspberry color; it's clear and limpid, lighter than Thralls' PN "Sonoma Coast." The fruit notes (field strawberries, sweet tomato, cranberry) commingle with notes of spice and the breezy top notes of a hay field on a warm summer day. On the palate are cranberry spice, clove, sweet tea, and very ripe raspberries. It feels rounder than the Sonoma Coast, with the added and has the polish of oak. The finish is all spicy red berries and faint caramel. This wine is sweet and dark, with a roundness and softness that makes it feel yielding and thoroughly accessible. Just lovely. 13.8% abv | $32 (sample)
