First bottle of the 19s and I can quickly say this is the best Heritage Ridge I’ve had. The grippy tannins have loosened up a bit. The fruit is concentrated, bursting in the mouth. Fresh blackberry and blueberry. Pipe tobacco, vanilla, baking chocolate, slight camphor. Man this is fantastic. Great mouthfeel, and a nice long finish.

Sep 25th, 2026BlackBerry jam nose. Needs a nice decant at this stage. Tannins softened and luscious, nice acidity, ripe black fruit, licorice, tobacco. Nice finish. Gonna let my other bottles sit for a couple years. Great wine but I think it needs more time to evolve and open up.
