Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim and medium plus intensity.
Medium bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with blueberries, black plums, cherries, sweet raspberries, spices, light cedar, licorice, cola, chocolates, tobacco and herbs.
Medium plus on the finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This young Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is starting to drink nicely now. Needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but very easy drinking, even right out of the bottle.
Elegant and fruit forward, with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel. Spicy and interesting.
Needs 30 minutes to open up, and much nicer after an hour in the decanter.
Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in French and American oak barrels (30% new) for 12 months.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

A bit too light/simple of a cab for me to drink it alone - however can see it pairing nicely w a meal.

Grape jelly. Wildflowers in a lush glen.
Rounded flavors of mixed berries, hint of vanilla, and reserved, subtle oak. Fun to drink. Recommended by my neighborhood wine guy.
