Today is the 50th anniversary of the Judgment of Paris, so here is a wine to celebrate that.
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim and medium plus intensity.
Fruity nose of blackberries, black currants, cedar, licorice, chocolates, light vanilla, tobacco, spices, herbs and black pepper.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black cherries, chocolates, cedar, licorice, light earth, herbs, spices, tobacco leaf and dark coffee.
Tangy finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Stags Leap District in Napa Valley. Complex and engaging, elegant and nicely balanced. Spicy and tangy.
Still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but already drinking beautifully. Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years. Has good potential to become a 94+ point wine.
Nice to see such low alcohol level from Napa Valley.
Good right out of the bottle with a great mouthfeel.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in new French oak barrels for 21 months. Unfiltered and unfined. A small production of less than 3,000 bottles.
