Good to taste the 18 vintage. Powerful blend as always, layers of fruit and dark chocolate. Smooth finish.

Always delicious. Notes of boysenberry, raspberry preserves, old leather, Luxardo cherry, & flint. I prefer when the Prisoner vintages present as smoke-bombs rather than juice-bombs, but I’ll take it either way.

Sweet, mild, and subtle. I may have decanted it got too long. Almost 8 hrs. It’s not worth the expensive price tag though. For that price there are many other better wines to buy.

Let it breathe! The second glass was smoother aroma and bigger taste. Medium plum aroma. Then black cherries changing to blackberries changing to a dry tannic plum finish. You can feel the layers changing.

Better after breathing, probably could use some more time to reach its full potential
