Ruby in color with a wide reddish Rim.
Fruity nose with black currants, plums, earth, cherries, spices, light oak, dust, green vegetables, bitter herbs and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with plums, currants, blackberries, vegetables, spices, light wood, pencil lead and peppercorn.
Medium finish with bitter tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a simple Cabernet Sauvignon from California. Not fully balanced, but very drinkable, nonetheless.
Good for every day and nothing special. Peaking now, as it will not get any better. Needs 30 minutes to open up properly and remove some of the bitterness.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with cheeses, nuts and fruits.

Just not my cup of tea (aka, wine). Has a very strange aroma that translates to a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Can’t put my finger on it, but it’s not a pleasurable experience. Probably others with a more refined pallet like it, but not for me.

This wine has a very nice fruity body with a bit of a dry finish. Currants come to mind. This is a wine best paired with a mind ready to transcend beyond this temporal realm, through the veil, and into the Void of Distortion! This wine is the palatable equivalent of a saw wave oscillating through the plenum cabling and into your grey matter. One day we will all be consumed by the cubular harbingers. But until that day consider Lodi’s plunger-head wine. On a Tuesday evening it is quite nice.
