The Original Martin's Pick Up
Shiraz
Color is light clear ruby, really light considering she is Shiraz. Nose of cherry jam, berries, spice, a bit leafy and grassy, a bit vanilla and a bit biting in the nasal cavity. Taste is quite sweet and mellow, tangerine, and zest in the background. No tannins. Almost too sweet for me. The content is quite solid. Aftertaste of a bit more cherry note. On par but above average for sweetness loved.

Jun 25th, 2020kinda neat that i can taste the notes for the first time. but didn’t love the combination of them. hubby likes it better than the last one.

Jan 7th, 2018Perfectly acceptable, and definitely a cut above a more commonly available Shiraz, without being too complicated. Drank 1 November 2017.

Mar 19th, 2017Especially considering the price, great wine! Medium-bodied beauty with lots of dark fruits and a little pepper.
