Holy moly. Super beautiful and elegant on opening, and two days later is still hanging in there on the palate with great minerality though the nose is a ghost of what it was the first night. Two barrels made, if you can find it, grab it. (Yes, that's my daughter's homework acting as a coaster, and yes, the Ojai showed better than the Cornas that night.) 2010

Took a while for this wine to come around, but when it did it was terrific. Aromas of dark cherry, earth, leather, vanilla. Flavor was rich and powerful with black truffle and almost baby powder like finish.
