Reccomended by the bartender at a local restaurant. $25 across the bar, but we know we can find it cheaper in stores.

Dark ruby, floral scent, taste of blackberry and plums. Medium acidity, mild tannins, hint of pepper, medium finish.

A very enjoyable wine.

Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Fruity on the nose with black currants, cherries, plums, blueberries, barnyard, earth, wood, bell pepper, vanilla, licorice, coffee, sweet raspberries, smoke, light bacon and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and thin legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, bell pepper, cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, earth, vegetables, bitter almonds and black pepper.

Medium finish with soft tannins and bitter vegetable.

This is a light Shiraz from South Eastern Australia. A nice everyday red wine.
Needs an hour or two to open up.
Well balanced with nice acidity.
I Paired it with some appetizers.

I held it for one additional year in my cellar, and it is a little softer now.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Fruity and easy to drink, but too sweet and simple.

Never a poor choice in the grocery wine aisle. Fruity, balanced, great on its own or with grilled or spicy foods. A decent budget wine.
