Horizontal. The North Block went well with food but seemed a bit rugged without it. A lot of clove and baking spice. Alcohol was quite present, and it wasn’t as elegant as the South Block.

Nov 23rd, 2018Did the 2011 North and South Block comparison with Thanksgiving dinner. North was a bit darker in color and heavier in body (and had more of an alcohol mouth feel) and went better with food/the whole meal. Fabulous nose of leather and wintergreen.
