The Cleaver Red Blend is 74% Zinfandel, 15% Syrah and 11% Petite Sirah from Amador County, California. The wine is made using grapes from Renwood's own vineyard as well as other old-vine vineyards nearby. The wine is aged 16 months in 30% new oak.  begins with a pleasing aroma full of cola, a little spice and some dark fruit. The wine tastes simple but good with a smooth and soft texture plus lots of chocolate (and a little black pepper) to go with the blackberry and plum fruit. It’s a nice daily drinker to go with burgers, steak, ribs and pork chops.

Nice and balanced red blend. Dark fruit blend—blackberry, plum, currant. Undertone of oak and spice.

Deep, dark and fruitily delicious without being sweet. Loved it with a steak dinner.

I dunno about it’s pairing with wine but nice and fruity paired with carrot cake. Has a nice warm fuzz when drank while cooking

Ok. Plum or cherry flavor. Smooth but not my favorite.

You have to let this wine breath. I wasn’t a fan on first sip but after letting it breath more, it was great.
