I have become a big fan of the Peju wines. This is no exception. They have stronger wines than this, but I may have corked it a bit early. Still very good. Dark berry flavors, yet still dry. Very good.

Delicious Bordeaux-blend, with hints of plum, chocolate.

Just received in wine club shipment and thought would give a try. I don't have the nose some do so will just say it was a very nice wine. Had some strong tannins and is a somewhat spicy wine on the back end. The second glass was much smoother than the first. I did enjoy the wine but not my favorite and probably a bit overpriced at retail. Would be interested to see how it drinks in 5 years though.

Nice nose - pleasant on the front end and spicy as it goes down...but not too spicy. Not their best, but a very drinkable wine.

2012-$55 retail; subdued, rich bouquet,55% cab sauv, 33% merlot, 5% petit Verdot, 4% Malbec, 3% cab franc; nice color, medium full bodied blend; slightly tart finish;served through aerator; maybe better decanted; tasted better after letting the glass sit; a very nice new blend; as far as Peju blends, fifty fifty (cab sauv, merlot) is the best at $85 retail.

Normally I'm the biggest Peju fan but this is my least favorite. Still pretty good - but a bit acidic and spicy for my tastes.
