Tempo Morellino di Scansano

Drinkable for $15! Morellino do Scansano Tempo. Decent dried red fruits. Could use a bit more acid. The Reserva is much better for only $4 more.

Smooth and well balanced, low acidity, nice fruit flavors

For the price, it is drinkable. Low acid. Little fruity on the front end, not much on the finish. Again, drinkable, but certainly better options out there.

Unique nose for a Sangiovese based wine. Black cherry but also notes you'd expect in a cote du Rhone: licorice, subtle Asian spice. Somewhat sweet, low/medium acidity (after opening up), smooth tannins. Medium with a tad more body.

Very light, decent red for the summer. Red fruits up front, not much finish. At under $15 is a good buy
