Very entertaining 10 year old Primitivo, very unusual find, very last bottle at a restaurant tonight. Smooth, medium body, tricky. The nose of old leather and cigars. No appreciable tannins and very gentle alcohol. Fruit is jumping of the bottle with tutti fruity, 10 minutes later cherry, in 30 minutes strawberry, finishes almost as a desert, at that time with strong raisins.

This wine has the soul of south Italy. Full body with a strong bouquet of black fruit. A high level of alcohol and an outstanding presence. You should drink it with a classic dish from puglia like stracotto di pecora (overcooked sheep)
