This is the Cabernet Franc. Delectable doesn't care though. They have been mailing in the identifications for the past 6-7 months. Maybe more? Interesting deep violet color in the glass. I love Cab Franc because of the wildness, especially bottles from the Loire. The wildness here is all from the nose with ground pepper, blueberries, raspberry spritzer, and dusty old cigar. Good balance with low alcohol and really good acidity. Smoke, clean fruit, vanilla, and coffee on the palate. A bit too clean to be honest. Not enough of a wild vegetal nature for me. Short finish with spice and pretty good minerality.
