Cour-Cheverny Romorantin
Yes, an aged Loire Romaratin. 12 years aged & intriguing: Dainty and fino like on back end, moderate acid & more floral than fruit. For 20$ a worthwhile adventure…

Mar 16th, 2022Exotic fruits, flowers and honey entwining a beam of acidity. A dead ringer for a Loire Chenin blanc.

Less unpleasantly oxidative than Daridan, more interesting than de Montcy and Cazin and at much frendlier price than Henri Marionnet. For the money I think this is the best that's out there-- Golden apple skin, celery, tarragon.

Jun 22nd, 2013Very pretty and nuanced, flirting with Riesling and Chenin but going it's own way. Dry but a touch of RS binds the wave of acidity to your palate perfectly. Long life ahead. Soon to be pushing this gem from our friends at the Sorting Table with Springboard Wine Company!
