Amador County Zinfandel

Off nose: blackberry, plum, on mouth: black cherry, strawberry, grass, sweet, medium plus bodied, medium tannin, low acidity

Cherries and plums, jammy taste, very sweet and full-bodied

Smell: strong hints of blackberry with a mix of oak and vanilla notes.
Taste: strong hints of raspberry and blackberry with some cherry. Off dry wine, with medium acidity and medium-high tannins. Full bodied red with an intense flavor
Appearance: clear liquid with a medium-intense ruby color.
Conclusion: one of my favorite reds so far, very nice, low intensity finish.

Deep rich red/purple color, mild notes of plum, fruitier than other reds I’ve had. I really liked it

Getting notes of plum and cherry. Not my favorite red but still pretty good. Tastes a little bit like raisins.

Intense red fruit flavor, sour plum-dark sour cherry flavor, not smooth on the finish but a subtlety sweet after taste, deep jelly color

Very very tart. Red fruit notes. Blackberry and mainly plum to me. I am not fond of this at all. Extremely bitter.

This wine has a distinctly oaky, maple-y, and fruity smell to it. Upon tasting, it has a very sweet notes of blackberries and jelly. I like this wine but I believe after a glass or two I may not enjoy the sugary taste.

First tastes like cherry as well as blackberry with an oaky aftertaste. Has intense tannins that you can feel in your mouth after each sip. Feels somewhat heavy.
