Mars and Venus Cabernet Sauvignon

Ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Fruity nose with plums, cherries, raspberries, earth, vegetables, oak, cloves, wet leaves, black olives, sweet candy, smoke, green beans and peppercorn.

Medium bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, cranberries, red currants, oak, vegetables, candy, earth, leather, black pepper, spices, beef jerky and black tea.

Medium finish with green tannins and sour cranberries.

This Spanish Cabernet is simple, but drinking nicely now. Almost balanced, and enjoyable by itself or with food.

Good right out of the bottle. Earthy red wine with a character. Gets earthier as it opens up.

This was great for a happy hour drink. ( I had 3 glasses... )

I Paired it with charcuterie board of cheeses, fruits and Meats.

13% alcohol by volume.

Not sure if this is the same one as labels says “product of Spain”

Tart

For a $10 bottle of wine, I love this stuff. Has a tart, candy-like taste at the finish that my friend described as blue raspberry.

I'm not usually a cab sav drinker, but this one was very smooth

This is an easy drinking and simple wine perfect as a house wine at a restaurant or for big party. I do prefer the Mars and Venus merlot.

Very dry and earthy. Finish is a bit smokey but is palatable.

Agree with other reviewer, a bit tart. A bit young, great buy, would have again.
