Much improved in 3 yrs since last tasted. Elegant, silky dark fruit, tobacco, and earthy notes. No rush to drink.

Apr 12th, 2021Very aromatic black cherry and earth on the nose. While this is 70% cab sav and 30% sangiovese, I would have guessed more cab franc over CS. There is a herbal green earthiness that reminds of a cab franc. Secondary black cherry flavors are on the palate too.
