A particularly savory/herbal white wine. Bay leaf, wild sage, etc. + citrus and plenty of acid with a certain roundness and the phenolic a that Carricante can have nicely in the background.

Round butterscotch entry on palate after a painfully generic white wine nose of pear and "grapiness". Slight bitter tinge on the finish. Meh. I wanted a cheaper Puddara. Certainly this is varietally correct with anise and orange blossom that poke out...but where's the mineral tension. Feels flat. Rounder than needed. No way Jose is this a bargain Puddara.
