Vino Rosso Toscana Sangiovese Blend

Not sure why this wine is getting killed here. We received it as a hostess gift and it was served to unanimous praise. Weird.

This is a Tuscan blend of Sangiovese. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine opened over time giving each grape a place at the tasting table. Sangiovese provides red fruit and herbaceous notes, Merlot gives some plum sweetness and the Cab gives structure and tannin. Finish is short but this complements tomato based sauces very well.

Nice with italian sausages and green peppers

I'm not always gonna get a super Tuscan over a proper chianti, but when you're with friends that don't really care for the latter, this is a good alternative

Very nice, paired beautifully with homemade pasta sauce and rigatoni
