Currant jam, roasted plums, tobacco, aged cigars, sweet wood, fresh turned soil, dark chocolate, spices. I've never had tannins this fine before, almost ethereal in nature but very persistent. The finish lasts minutes. Intoxicatingly good.

Deep and incredibly well layered. Macerated black plum, sweet red cherry, graphite, white pepper, mocha. Rugged tannin buoyed by noticeable acidity. A wine to seek out and cellar.
