This organic wine makes a great case for the unoaked, fruity style of Barbera - good acidity, modest tannins and loads of blackberry, black cherry, plum and violet flavors. There is a hint of minerality and forest floor here, but mostly this is a love letter to fruit. Excellent for pasta and grilled meats. Tasting it you would never know this wine is 15% abv - it has a great balance of alcohol, acidity and fruit.
